Position Overview
Reporting to the Component Manager, our Component Shop Assistant supports the efficient operation of the shop and the delivery of high-quality aircraft maintenance. Their role encompasses assisting with the preparation, handling, and processing of components, supporting fabrication and assembly tasks, and maintaining clean, safe and organized work areas. By ensuring tools, materials, and workflows are effectively managed, the Component Shop Assistant contributes to the overall reliability, precision, and operational excellence that defines Alpine Aerotech's standards in helicopter maintenance and support.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Clean and degrease parts using appropriate cleaning solutions, solvents, or mechanical methods;
- Assist with general shop maintenance, including but not limited to: cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies;
- Support shop staff in assembling, disassembling, and moving materials or aircraft components;
- Application of Cadmium and Zinc-Nickle Plating.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment to complete tasks;
- Maintain clean and safe work areas by adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear;
- Support additional tasks and projects as required.
- Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.

- Proven mechanical aptitude, hand skills and knowledge of equipment, tools and various materials;
