POSITION SUMMARY:
Facilities Technicians will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining interior and exterior public spaces, including sanitary restrooms, at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area's property, which includes wiping down counters and sinks, sweeping up floor, emptying trash cans, replacing toilet paper and facial tissue, conducting litter pick up around exterior of buildings, assisting Building Maintenance Technicians with supply ordering information on products needed, following daily and weekly cleaning opening and closing checklist to ensure cleanliness of public areas including but not limited to vacuuming, snow shoveling, and sweeping in accordance with manager's discretion. Facilities Technicians may be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
This opportunity is specifically for candidates currently in the United States who are seeking an extension or transfer of a valid H-2B visa .
Contract Dates: 12/15/2026 - 5/1/2027
WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Arapahoe Basin's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors , including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Arapahoe Basin's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Hourly pay range: $20.50 - $22.50/hour

- Has at least six (6) months of maintenance or housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Use full range of body motion: bend, twist, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for 8+ hours.
- Navigate stairs throughout your shift.
- Withstand high altitude conditions at all times .

- You will work almost 100% of the time in a kitchen in a high-altitude environment. Some outside work in a cold and snowy environment is possible on any given day. Most work is performed in a highly trafficked area. Riding a chairlift may be required for certain work locations.
