HOURLY RATE - $19.29 ($20.02 when instructing)

FULL/PART-TIME HOURS:

Full Time and Part Time Hours:
  • Full-Time: Average 4-5 shifts per week
  • Part-Time: 2-3 shifts per week
  • Shifts anywhere from 8:45am to 9:15pm; weekend work required

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The key responsibilities of this position include ensuring every guest can enjoy the water safely by maintaining vigilant supervision, responding confidently to emergencies, and creating a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable aquatic environment.
  • Being alert and ready to jump into action during any emergency
  • Maintaining our beautiful resort spaces by tidying entrances, lobbies, multi‑purpose rooms, first-aid areas, pools, decks, and change rooms - ensuring everything looks inviting for the next wave of guests.
  • Ensuring pool decks, chairs, hot tub areas and equipment are cleaned and well organized
  • Responding to guest questions, requests, and concerns with warm, attentive, can‑do energy - making every visitor feel like a VIP
  • Gently enforce poolside rules (no smoking, drinking, chair reserving, etc.) so everyone can enjoy a safe and stress‑free environment
  • Documenting any damage or maintenance deficiencies and missing inventory items
  • Interacting with guests, sharing accurate information about the resort's offerings, activities.
  • Getting a free tan!

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • NL Certification required
  • First Aid with CPR 'C' required
  • Recertification of awards to remain current will be required
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Must be age 15 as per Ontario Legislation
