HOURLY RATE - $22.70

FULL-TIME HOURS:
  • 7:30am to 3:30pm daily
  • Average 4-5 shifts per week in peak seasons (summer/winter)
  • Average 3-4 shifts per week in non-peak seasons (spring/fall)
  • Weekend work required
  • 1-Year Contract

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Balancing various payment types, such as cash, credit card, and gift card transactions, against corresponding sales transactions.
  • When errors are identified, the Auditor will assist in correction process through on-going communication to supervisory staff.
  • Posting daily statements to GL for all outlets across resort and completing journal entries
  • Responding to guest inquiries and chargebacks between BMR, Guests, Moneris, and American Express.
  • Auditing proper processing of discounts, price adjustments, refunds, etc. based on systems reports. And ensure proper control measures are met.
  • Analyzing new product transactions to assist in implementation of controls. This is completed with problem solving and understanding of internal systems. This may include test of new computer system upgrades.
  • Assisting in all other office duties including cash counting, receipts auditing, and pickups and deliveries.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • Post-Secondary education and/or a minimum of two years' experience in accounting an asset
  • Familiar with using different systems such as NAV/ Light speed.
  • Intermediate computer skills. Strong proficiency in MS Excel
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete a Criminal, Credit & Reference Background Check
