WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue across Blue Mountain's core business units; including but not limited to mountain operations, summer attractions, lodging and food & beverage. An analytical thinker, the Revenue Manager will support business planning and will annually develop detailed budgets that incorporate market trends and strategic initiatives.
The incumbent will implement pricing, channel, business mix, and product strategies to maximize revenue potential and achieve budgeted targets by business unit. They will develop accurate weekly forecasts and in conjunction with the Senior Director of Revenue Strategy will lead Sell Strategy meetings with Sales, Marketing, and business unit leaders to review sales, marketing, and product development tactics to realize achievement of budgeted targets.
This position requires a thorough comprehension of yield management and analytical approach to problem solving messaged effectively to key stakeholders.

- Developing and implementing pricing, offers, channel, and business mix strategies to maximize revenue potential
- Developing regular revenue forecasts and commentary that articulate underlying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Developing detailed revenue budgets based on established targets, trends, and initiatives; and actively participating in development of those initiatives that will support revenue growth.
- Demonstrating advanced technical skills to develop necessary tools and models that support efficient and accurate analysis.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for revenue management systems and tools, including but not limited to Duetto, OneYield, SMS, RTP, Inntopia to the extent that these systems are used in revenue management.
- Providing feedback to leadership that influences revenue and product planning for future seasons
- Conducting weekly Sell Strategy meetings to review upcoming pace and pricing, restrictions, projections and channel strategies.
- Working with the Marketing team to create promotional plans to increase revenue.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- University Bachelor's Business degree or 3+ years of related experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the hospitality/tourism industry is strongly preferred.
- Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office and, specifically, Excel. Experience with Cognos is an asset.
- Previous knowledge of SMS and Marriot systems are assets.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the proven ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure within a deadline-based environment.
