Position Overview
The Office Administrator, Part Time is the first point of contact for our CMH guests. The primary function of this role is to receive and direct incoming calls, manage the reception area including deliveries and walk-in visitors, and provide administrative support through data input, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office equipment. This position is part-time and paid on an hourly basis. The schedule primarily consists of Fridays and Saturdays, along with occasional coverage for time-off needs. Due to the nature of this opportunity, there is no option for this role to work remotely.

Compensation
A competitive hourly rate starting between $21-$24 will be provided, along with 4% vacation pay and opportunities to heli-hike and heli-ski as available. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and direct incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound mail distribution.
- Assist with weekly organization of Heli-Huddle meetings.
- Maintain office equipment including service calls, supplies needed and equipment contracts.
- Coordinate the processing and shipping of lost and found items.
- Reconcile petty cash for reception.
- Distribute and track passes for the CMH Ski Pass Program and reconcile month-end usage.
- Process invoices, make office-related purchases, and month-end reconciliation.
- Open and close the CMH office on Bear Street as required.
- Maintain accurate office directories and contact lists.
- Manage all aspects of pricing, ordering, and delivering office supplies.
- Coordinate office maintenance, cleaning, and off-site storage contracts.
- Support new employee onboarding with office keys, nameplates, and business cards.
- Manage the company out-of-office calendar.
- Planning support for various events across CMH.
- Process and validate guest waivers, as needed.
- Assist the Guest Services and Inside Sales teams with administrative support, as needed.
- Help support implementation of CMH health and safety initiatives.
- Help support implementation of CMH sustainability initiatives.
- Train, participate in and provide support, as required, during emergency response situations.
- Support guests and employees in the field program during area visits, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent specialized training in a related field.
- Experience in the ski industry, preferred.
- Experience or understanding of various outdoor activities, preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in an administrative capacity.

- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, as well as an ability to learn other relevant software platforms.
- Able to prioritize tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment with seasonal workload fluctuations and changing priorities.
- Confidence to interact with all levels of the company in a hub-and-spoke model in which many individuals are remote.
- Trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role.
- Sees projects through to completion including follow-up on any identified issues.
- Strong sense of work ethic and accountability, with an ability to function well in a team environment and focus on team success.

Working Conditions
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
- This position is required, at times, to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
- This position may require occasional travel to CMH areas, as well as some travel to industry functions on an occasional basis.
